To be defined as organic a cosmetic product must contain a minimum of 95% of organic ingredients and in its production it is not possible to use derivatives of petroleum origin, paraffins, formaldehyde and dyes of synthetic origin. These ingredients are replaced by plant derivatives, safer for the health of the consumer and with greater protection of the environment. The certified cosmetics have greater affinity with the skin, thanks to the limited presence of synthetic substances and the wide use of biological raw materials. In fact, the use of natural ingredients such as floral waters, vegetable oils, essential oils and plant extracts, preferably from organic farming, is favored. Organic cosmetics do not contain GMOs or synthetic fragrances.
