Candle care tips
WoodWick candles may occasionally have different burning characteristics than traditional candles. Here are a few simple steps to ensure the best burning experience every time
Let the candle wax become completely liquid
The best burning results are achieved when the candle burns for 3 to 4 hours. The liquid wax should reach the edge of the candle before it is extinguished, which can take between 30 and 60 minutes. This prevents a so-called tunnel formation and the formation of wax residues on the sides of the vessel. The height of the flame can vary from time to time and sometimes even become very small, but this is completely normal. A low flame heats up further and returns to a normal flame height.
Place the candle within sight and away from drafts
Always place the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface and keep it away from children, pets, flammable materials and other heat sources.
Do not move the candle while it is burning or when the wax is hot
To be on the safe side, the candle should not be moved until the flame is extinguished and the wax has cooled down completely.
