The story behind this extremely aquatic and extravagant unisex perfume, once called "Antò portami a Palmarola", takes us to the remote island of Palmarola off the west coast of Italy. Here Antò, the lonely naturalist, waits for the return of his beloved. His life in the nature reserve is determined by sun, sand, rocks and above all by the sea. We feel the sea air on our skin, perceive the striking algae and sea grass odor, but also the lovely aromas of lavender and violets, which the wind carries over the island. Then we taste almost sweet figs and look forward to Antò's kiss, which tastes of salt - and more. Tonatto has refined the original perfume of Laura Tonatto and simply called Palmarola.
Parfumlounge says: Tonatto Palmarola is an insider tip among Tonatto fragrances and reminds of our absolute favorite perfume "Acquasala" by Italy's fragrance designer Gabriella Chieffo. She would have understood well with Antò!

Count to Italy's most beautiful islands! The island off the west coast between Rome and Naples is one of the Pontine Islands. The entire archipelago is a designated natural reserve and is only inhabited during the summer months. Then there are also day trips. For a hike or a dive near the famous Grotta di Mezzogiorno. Palmarola was known already in the early days - due to its obsidian deposits. Obsidian is a black, volcanic rock crystal that can be turned into sharp-edged tools.
