The likeable brand HYDROPHIL stands for newly conceived and sustainable hygiene products, starting with products for oral hygiene to soaps and lip balms. It all started with the HYDROPHIL brand with a blog about water. Christoph, Sebastian and Wanja, 3 friends from the Hanseatic City of Hamburg, already addressed all facets of this topic in their blog. Because besides the air we breathe, water is the most important resource for plants, animals and humans. And without water, there would be no life. In their blog, the Hamburgers deal with a wide variety of aspects relating to the topic of water, such as sustainable use or conflicts over this valuable resource.

If you look at our globe, you might think that water is an infinite good, because two thirds of our earth is covered with water. However, only 3% of these are fresh water and therefore drinkable. The resource water is therefore very limited. The consequences of this scarcity of resources are frightening, because billions of people worldwide have no access to clean drinking water.
