A family business from Kentucky

Chuck Meece founded Goose Creek in 1998 in the small town of Liberty, Kentucky, and it remains a family business to this day.

Right after graduating from high school, Chuck went into business for himself and spent years looking for a niche to grow his business. In the late 90s, he finally found what he was looking for: he recognised his opportunity in the emerging demand for high-quality candles and started making candles in his home. His wife Tamara, whom he had already met in high school, supported him in realising his dream and worked side by side with him. Today, the next generation is already working successfully in the family business. Chuck and Tamara's children Micah, Jordan and Madison are building the brand's success together with their parents.dambiro

In order to meet the demand for their products in more than 75 countries around the world, the company has since grown into a large manufacturing operation with many employees. Today, quality is still paramount, as each candle is made to exceed the highest industry standards.

The scented candles are still made in the USA, something the company is very proud of. Only 100% cotton lead-free wicks are used for the candles and they burn cleanly and evenly. To ensure the safe use of the candles, they are tested by IFRA (International Fragrance Association). The fragrances are developed directly in the company and spread an intense and pleasant aroma.

In the meantime, the company also produces body care products in addition to candles. However, all products have one thing in common: they are made with love by a family business and are characterised by their pleasant fragrances!dambiro
