Gabriella Chieffo Maisìa
The scent of sweet sin! All those who only listen to their hearts and not to the envious voices of others when it comes to love, can confidently turn off their heads when they hear these aromas. Grace, beauty and passion need no excuse. Wonderfully bewitching through ylang-ylang and narcissus, a little bit wicked through smoky nuances and profound through musk and amber. Gorse stands for butterflies in the stomach, the fig leaf odeur for unconditional devotion. Maisìa paints cloud-flowers in the 7th sky. Come down? You don't have to!

Fragrance Dictionary: Lignum Vitae (Guaiac)
The blue flowering guaiac tree thrives in Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean. Its wood (also called pokwood) is one of the hardest and heaviest precious woods in the world. Already the Mayas used guaiac extracts as a remedy, in the 16th century they were used against pokwood. Hence the Latin name Lignum Vitae (tree of life). The essential oil of the tree has an intensive woody and spicy scent, its resin is also used in incense blends. Lignum Vitae extracts are also found in herbal liqueurs and teas.
