Gabriella Chieffo Lattedoro Eau de Parfum 2ml sample

The seductive Eau de Parfum LATTEDORO as a sample to test.

Whoever tastes this milk is forever seduced. Lattedoro has christened Gabriella Chieffo her latest creation. The golden milk is supposed to flood through us like a magic potion made of milk and honey and many precious ingredients. Is there a hint of marzipan in the top note? Or is it the bizarre-good mixture of bergamot, cinnamon and nutmeg that turns our heads? The Italian perfumer's two new fragrances (Lattedoro and Quasicielo) each contain a good pinch of fresh ginger, which she artfully weaves into Lattedoro with sweet, floral, woody and even leathery notes. Who else but Chieffo would dare to add milk, iris, jasmine and coconut to the already creative heart note and season it with turmeric? And then combine the sweet-warm woody sandalwood and vanilla with leather of all things in the base note? Chieffo apparently found inspiration in India: Here, milk, spiced with turmeric and cinnamon, is regarded as a healing turmeric latte or "golden milk"...

The result of Lattedoro is a fine-powdery scent like Christmas and wedding in one day, wearable in enchanted summer nights as well as glamorous winter evenings. But more from her than from him, we at parfumlounge think. A milk that we enjoy tasting again and again, that makes us drunk with happiness.

Dictionary of fragrances: Turmeric

In the kitchen, this exotic spice from the ginger family gives dishes not only a striking yellow colour, but also a particularly earthy, warm and spicy taste. Turmeric, also known as saffron root or yellow ginger, is a component of many Asian and Indian dishes, but is also becoming increasingly popular in German cuisine - as superfood. Aromatherapy and traditional Chinese medicine value turmeric as a panacea: for digestive and metabolic disorders as well as for Alzheimer's, joint and rheumatic diseases or even cancer. Many studies confirm the healing properties of this sacred Indian plant. Used externally, the oil is said to promote the formation of collagen and thus counteract the development of wrinkles. The scent of turmeric is very reminiscent of ginger, but is less pungent and much more earthy.

Tip: Golden milk

For the ayurvedic magic potion turmeric latte is needed:

1 teaspoon turmeric
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch of cardamom
1 thin slice of ginger
2 tsp honey or coconut blossom sugar
1 cup of milk, or oat, soy or almond milk

Bring all ingredients to the boil briefly in a saucepan, stir until creamy and enjoy warm.
