Facial cleansing for a fine complexion

A thorough facial cleansing is the basis for further skin care measures. Why is facial cleansing so important?

Environmental influences such as flying dust particles can pollute our skin. If these impurities are not removed, the skin may change and small inflammations in the form of spots or blackheads may occur. The same applies to make-up, which should be thoroughly removed in the evening before going to bed.

A facial cleansing thus ensures a beautiful, healthy complexion and prevents pimples and blackheads. In addition, a cleansed facial skin is more receptive to the active ingredients of care products such as creams or masks.

Facial cleansing products at a glance

Cleansing Gel: Cleansing gel does not leave an oily or greasy film on the skin and is therefore particularly suitable for oily skin and combination skin. Facial cleansing with a cleansing gel is especially recommended in the morning before applying make-up.

Cleansing Milk: For dry skin, cleansing milk is suitable for cleansing the face, as the milk provides the skin with moisture and has a moisturizing effect. Evening is the best time to cleanse your face with cleansing milk.

Cleansing Plaster: For deep cleansing of the pores, a cleansing plaster can be applied from time to time in addition to the normal face cleansing, which cleanses the pores of dirt especially on the nose, chin and forehead.

Cleansing Peeling: A peeling especially for face cleansing often contains fewer peeling particles and is more gentle than a pure face peeling. However, such a peeling should only be used once or twice a week on normal and dry skin. For a strongly oily, horny skin, the cleansing peeling can be applied daily.

Make-up Remover: A make-up remover is specially designed to remove make-up. It dissolves the make-up particles and additionally cares for the skin.

Make-up Wipes: If you need to remove make-up quickly, make-up wipes are ideal for quickly cleansing and removing make-up from the face. The facial cleansing wipes are also practical for on the go and for the journey they are small, lightweight and practical to handle.

3-in-1 Products: These combination products for facial cleansing remove dirt from the skin, can also be used for the eyes and lips and have a refreshing and toning effect like a facial toner.

How facial cleansing works

Step 1: Thoroughly cleanse facial skin with a suitable cleansing product, such as cleansing gel or milk, to remove dirt, deposits and dead skin cells. Allow the product to act on the skin for about 10 seconds and then rinse off with plenty of water.

Step 2: After applying cleansing milk or gel, clear the facial skin with facial toner.

Step 3: The skin is now more receptive to the active ingredients of other care products and needs moisture after cleansing. Therefore now apply a suitable moisturizing care cream.
