Acca Kappa LiboCedro Shaving Foam
The balsamic, spicy scent of LiboCedro shaving foam from Acca Kappa is complemented by many skin-soothing care ingredients from nature. For example, valuable olive oil, soothing and moisturising aloe vera and nourishing jojoba oil. Jojoba oil, actually a wax, nourishes, protects, moisturises and regenerates skin and hair - without clogging the pores. The Indians of the North American continent already used the extracts from the evergreen shrub Simmondsia chinensis. They pressed the skin care product from the seeds of the fruit, spread it on skin and hair and treated wounds. Jojoba wax, or oil, is non-greasy and is quickly absorbed by the skin. It contains mainly provitamin A (beta-carotene) and vitamin E (antioxidants). Irritation and redness caused by shaving are quickly relieved. A variety of minerals also provide the epidermis with everything it needs to stay healthy. The extract forms a natural protective shield against sun and dryness. It ensures soft, supple beard hair from the root and prepares it optimally for shaving.
What remains is beautifully cared-for skin and an exclusive fragrance that also radiates calming signals. The designers at the Acca Kappa fragrance company have blended fresh, lively bergamot notes, spicy sage and clove as well as sweet, tart rose with warm cedar wood notes and rounded them off with a hint of musk, petitgrain and subtle moss.dambiro
Balsamic cedarwood lends its name to Acca Kappa's exquisite men's line LiboCedro. But how do you capture the scent of wood? The ancient Egyptians already knew the answer. Because the elaborate and extremely time-consuming process of steam distillation is just as old: water is heated and the steam is pressed through the wood chips and plant residues with pressure. The condensate contains water and the essential oils of the tree, which settle naturally after cooling. The Egyptians not only loved the harmonising scent of the cedar, but also used the oil as a preservative (for mummification and impregnation of papyrus, for example) and valued the wood of the cedar as an ornamental and building material (for precious sarcophagi, for example). The evergreen pine can live for more than 1,000 years. However, the population of the original Lebanon cedar has declined immensely. Most perfumes today are therefore made from the wood of the Atlas cedar. This is because the popularity of the fragrance is unbroken. In aromatherapy, cedarwood oil is valued for its calming, strengthening effect. Calm down!dambiro
